I'm linking up with others who have found great thrifted items over at Meet Virginia Design.

I really feared that my two thrifting adventures were a bust. Few things seemed to be in my size and those that were just didn't look so great when I tried them on. I decided not to get too discouraged and tried on some items that looked 'eh' on the hanger and was pleasantly surprised.
My clothing loot:
Cashmere Lord and Taylor sweater (NWT) $9.99
Blue Loft top $5.99
Patterned Loft top $4.99
Ann Taylor Factory Denim skirt (legitimately needed) $8.99
Silk Banana Republic skirt $4.99
Rust Loft capris $8.99
The silk skirt was definitely 'the find' of the week. It's navy (bonus) and makes me feel like a ballerina.
In home/accessories, I fell in love with these serious steals:
The vase was $3
The daisy pin was .99 and the jeweled flower was $2.
I'm trying to have vintagey milk-glass like vases around our apartment and I just adore the shape of this one. The pins were crazy affordable and will be cute with some of my jackets.
Did you find any treasures this week?

I have recently fallen in love with milk glass too. Mixed with some of my simpler white porcelain finds, they look so simple and pretty.
Your clothing finds are fabulous! Love the silk skirt and those pretty red pants. You may have to turn me on to your sources, lol (definitely more fitting a stay-at-home mom's budget). Beautiful as always.
I love the pins, can't wait to see how you wear them.
We have that exact white vase at my house Kathleen! I think my mom had it from years ago, it was possibly her mom or grandmas!
oh I SO need to find a second hand shop near me, you scored some great stuff, and love those pins!!
Thanks for sharing
I stopped by here form the Thriftaholic hop and although I didn't participate wanted to stop by for a visit. I am a new follower. You found some awesome finds...I loooove thrifting! :) I adore that daisy pin...oh my!
It's genetic ! your Mom is one of the most talented Garage Sale shoppers I know - of course - the cashmere brings this a step beyond the Garage - but, you know what I mean. You can never go wrong with milk glass - it's timeless ! hobnail pattern is one of my favorites and I will be on the look-out for you - you know I love a challenge ! x0x
Great finds! I collect milk glass and have a vase very similar to that one. :)
