Saturday, 4/30
Celebrated a coworker's wedding and we were really looking forward to this. A great excuse to enjoy a night getting all dressed up and dance the night away. And the hair got cut and brightened.
Outfit for the church:
Dress: Lilly Pulitzer
Wrap: Jones NY
Shoes: Naturalizer
Earrings: Rhonda Jewelry
Outfit for the reception
Dress: Ann Klein
Shoes: my wedding shoes, dyed black
My hubby's suit is from Kohls
I love the beaded cap sleeves and the little flair of the dress.
Again, I just love to get all girly and dressed up.
This is the best shot of the jewelry. I kinda forgot about that shot.
Necklace: Swarovski
Earrings: Givenchy
Sunday, 5/1
Church and family gathering to celebrate my cousin's communion. Beautiful weather and the entire family got together, so it was pretty perfect.
Top and Cardigan: Jcrew Factory
Jeans: Gap
Belt: Jcrew Factory
Shoes: Nine West
Earrings: Jewelscapes
Monday, 5/2
Day off, spent the day doing laundry and cleaning.
I also really dove into working on the scrapbook I was commissioned for. And watched the first season of Mad Men. I wish I could wear such pretty dresses to work without being made fun of.
Tee: Target
Sweater: Jcrew Factory
Jeans: Calvin Klein
Shoes: DSW
Word of the Year Necklace: Lisa Leonard
Earrings: Lisa Leonard
Tuesday, 5/3
Meetings at work and filmed a clip for a commercial.
Top: Target
Jacket: Old Navy
Skirt: Jcrew
Belt: Target
Shoes: Naturalizer
Earrings: Lord and Taylor
Necklace: Tiffany's (this was a staple necklace for me a few years ago. I had the chain custom made to 15 inches so that I can have it sit just at that perfect spot.)
Lots of allergies this time of year, hence the glasses.
I also picked up some new foundation (Laura Mercier moisturizing) on Saturday and I am really happy with the clean face look. It was much pricier than I would usually spend, but it really matches my skin tone, so it was worth it for me.
Have a wonderful week and thanks for stopping by!

Love your outfits! You look super-cute in all of them. Maybe I'll muster-up the courage to play along one of these Wednesdays.

cute, I agree the Garnet Hill cardi is super cute and the yellow in the first outfit looks so great on you!
#1. This first pair of pants are super flattering on you!
#2. Your new cardi is SUPER cute! Is that a brand or store? Never heard of it before and wishing we had it in TX!
#3. Your wedding outfit for the church is fantastic.
#4. Is it a common thing to have different outfits for the wedding/reception? I am assuming they were not immediately following each other? Please share with me... I've never experienced a wedding like that!
#5.Great outfits all week!

Love the lightened hair color! You looked gorgeous in your black outfit for the reception - really stunning. Great outfits this week!
the new hair do looks great, love the cardi in the first picture with the ruffles.
Great reception outfit, love the beautiful black dress
Thanks for sharing
Thanks, everybody!!
Abby, to answer you:
1. Thanks! I am wearing the pants again today and said to my husband I could not believe how slimming they are!!
2. Garnet Hill is a catalog/website. I should have linked it - www.garnethill.com
3. Wedding look was totally cheap from the Marshall's :)
4. Here the ceremonies and receptions tend to be a few hours apart (the church was 3 and the reception was 6:30). Usually I wear the same outfit, but both the church and reception were close to home, so I was able to get really decked out in between. There are times, though that I wear the same to both if they are far from my apartment.
5.Thanks, same to you!!
Love the new cardigan, and the hair cut is great. Your blouse in Sundays photo is great with your complexion. Lookin Good!
They hair cut and color looks great! I love the color combo you did with the Dusty Rose earrings this time.
I added a link to this post over at the Jewelscapes Fan Page. Thanks again!

Very cute outfits. You look great in dresses! Cute hair too.
The first outfit is so pretty. You look stunning in the outfit for the reception. You guys are a perfect match! You look adorable in the outfit with black tights. It reminds me of Kathleen Kelly in You've Got Mail, one of my very favorite movies of all time. I'm giving you a shout-out on my blog tomorrow :)
Awesome outfits!! I love the look of the skinny belts the way you wear them, think I'm going to challenge myself to do that sometime this week :) I also just ADORE that yellow sweater in the first picture, I have been searching EVERYWHERE for the right yellow jacket/cardi/sweater! LOVE yours!
like your description of your mother you too look TERRIFIC everyday of the year. no lounging for you either?!?
you had an out fit for the church and one for the reception...can i get away with that too? i just want a reason to wear more than one fancy dress at a time...since the opportunities are so rare.
i have to tell you that for my high school reunion i couldn't decide which dress to wear and i seriously considered having a wardrobe change! my friend has a travel trailer and i thought it would be fun to use it and change mid reunion. it would've been funny and fun...maybe at the next one.:-)
your hair looks great.
I was very excited to get this Garnet Hill sweater... ayellowsweater.blogspot.com
